Zalary respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our services. To provide features like account synchronization, calculations across devices, and premium features, we collect limited personal and technical data.
1. Local Storage: If you use the local device storage option, your shift entries and salary calculations are stored only on your device and are not collected or accessed by us.
2. Cloud Sync (Zalary PRO): If you choose to enable cloud data storage, we collect the following to ensure synchronization works correctly:
• Personal Information: Your Email address and a unique User ID from your Google Account.
• Shift Data: The work shifts and settings you choose to sync across devices.
3. App Improvement & Safety (All Users): To ensure a stable and bug-free experience, we collect certain technical data from all users:
• Financial Information: Purchase history (handled via Google Play) to verify your PRO status.
• App Activity & Usage: Data on app interactions and Advertising IDs via Firebase Analytics to improve features.
• Technical Data: Crash logs and diagnostics to identify and fix errors.
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
•App Functionality: To manage your account, synchronize your work shifts, and provide the services you request.
•Account Management: To allow you to create an account and sign in via Google.
•Analytics: To analyze app performance and usage trends to improve the user experience.
•Security: To protect against fraud and ensure the security of our services.
Zalary uses the following third-party services which may collect and process data according to their own policies:
•Google Play Services: For core app functionality.
•Firebase (Google): For authentication (Firebase Auth), database (Firestore), and analytics (Firebase Analytics).
•Google Play Billing: To handle secure in-app purchases and subscriptions.
All data collected is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to protect your information from unauthorized access.
We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the services.
How to delete your data:
•In-App: You can use the "Delete Data" feature within the app settings to clear local data and reset your profile in the app to the factory settings.
•Account Deletion Request: To permanently delete your account, your Google-linked profile, and all associated database records, please send an email to AccountDeletion@zalary.no with the subject "Delete My Account". We will manually verify and delete your data from Firebase Authentication and Firestore within 14 business days.
Any changes will be updated on this page. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Purchases and Billing Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. Google may collect payment information under their own policies. Zalary does not receive your payment details. Usage of analytics, identifiers, and diagnostics is handled as described in Sections 2 and 4 of this policy.
